Here’s a project, that’s going to make you smile. How do you get the personality out of some of the world’s most endangered species? Joel Sartore is an American National Geographic wildlife photographer and he came up with the answer: don’t photograph them in their natural surroundings, but put them on a set, so their personality really can shine.
Joel travelled to zoo’s around the world and the staff helped create sets, allocating him rooms which he could paint black or white and leaving food inside. The result speaks for itself. And although the dramatic loss of bio-diversity is no smiling matter this humorous and heartwarming take make you care. I can’t help, but smile.
